April showers really did lead to May flowers, it seems! After some wet, chilly days here in Toronto, we’re being rewarded with beautiful blue skies, warmer temperatures and glorious sunshine. Fresh local asparagus is coming!

This is one of the best times of the year to enjoy fresh Ontario produce, and asparagus is a perennial favourite among Olliffe customers. Whether you grill it, make an asparagus tart with cheese, add it to quiches or omelettes, or sauté it in garlic butter, asparagus is a seasonal delight that cannot be missed. The Victoria Day long weekend is coming, and our fingers are crossed for more of this beautiful weather.
